Abstract

The article describes the problem of insufficient goods, with which consumers in Kharkov can be provided. The main objective of the study is to assess the quality of ten kinds of soap, sold in shops of Kharkov, and to define the samples, which do not meet standard requirements. The application of modern methods of the quality estimation allows determining the falsification of goods and preventing their sale in the market. During the examination the organoleptic and physicochemical parameters of quality, normalized by State Standard, were estimated. The results of the examination of samples provide a conclusion on the quality of the introduced ten kinds of soap of different brands, and can be used by consumers when choosing a brand
