Abstract

The principles and stages of operation in interactive mode have been stated for Isohypse software complex intended for creating in computer memory a three-dimensional description of geophysical objects represented with isolines and faults. The main advantage is the ability to process both monochrome (black and white) and colored (original maps) image of objects in a rectangular or geographic coordinate system. The complex provides various ways to determine the parameter Z (x, y) in the grid node depending on its location on the image. The input lines is performed by using Bezier curves, which allows to more accurately simulate surface geophysical objects. For the first time introduced the concept of isolines of the specific type. The complex allows from already created digital definitions to cut and save the data in any rectangular region, to obtain information along the selected lines for further use in constructing two-dimensional cuts.
