Focus and Scope
Scientific and Technical Collection "Engineering Geodesy" was founded in 1965 by the Kyiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
The collection has the Certificate of state registration of the print media Series KV No. 4185 of May 10, 2000 and ISSN 0130-6014.
Decisions of the Presidium of DAC of Ukraine №1413 from Octovber 24, 2017 collection of scientific papers "Engineering geodesy" included in the "List of professional publications of Ukraine", in which can be published results of dissertations on competition doctor's degree and candidate of Science in the following specialties may be published: 05.24.01 - Geodesy, photogrammetry and cartography; 05.24.04 - Сadastre and Land monitoring; 05.23.20 - Urban planning and territorial planning.
The collection "Engineering geodesy" covers current issues in the theory and practice of geodesy, engineering geodesy, photogrammetry and remote sensing, geoinformation systems and technologies, cartography, land management and cadastre, urban planning and territorial management and applied mathematics.
Language of publications: Ukrainian, English and Russian.
Peer Review Process
All submissions to the Scientific and Technical Journal "Engineering Geodesy" are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief together with the Secretary-General. Those articles that best meet the editorial requirements and are consistent with the goals and topics of the collection are submitted for review.
The editor evaluates each new submission in terms of completeness, and the secretary for compliance with the rules for the authors. Each submission is checked for originality using UniCheck. Due to the high level of similarity, the editor has every right to reject the article and to send the authors a letter explaining the reason for refusing to accept the submission.
When the editor decides to submit an article for review, the author in charge receives an email. Usually, the author receives a response from the editor within 14 days.
The authors of the article may submit nominations for reviewers, but these proposals are submitted for review.
All submitted articles are submitted for blind review to one reviewer. According to the editorial policy, the names and authors' names remain unknown to the reviewers. Similarly, the names of the reviewer are not disclosed to the authors, except when the reviewer himself requires communication with the author.
Additional reviewers may be involved as necessary, and the authors will be notified as this will take additional time to review.
The review process takes up to 30 days.
After revision, the article is submitted to the same reviewer for re-review. The corrected version of the article should be sent along with a cover letter, which responded to the reviewer's comments and explained what had been changed.
The final decision on acceptance of the article for publication is made by the editorial board, taking into account the conclusions of the reviewers, which the authors immediately inform.
Publication Frequency
Scientific and technical collection "Engineering geodesy" is published once a year.
Open Access Policy
"Engineering Geodesy" is a collection of full open access. All articles are available to readers online after publication. Articles are permanently available for viewing, downloading, copying, distribution, linking to the full text of the articles or for any other legitimate purpose without the need for subscription and without the permission of the publisher or author. We do not charge any fees for viewing or downloading articles.
