Sessions and programs of International Olympic Academy as an instrument of olympic education

By the distinguishing features of sessions and programs practiced by International olympic academy they appear: endeavor, mass character, internationalism, clear periodicity, the uniformity of the geography of the scope of participants, the presence of independent base, stable sources of funds, the timely planning of programs, the structuring of administrative staff, the clear distribution of the responsibilities between the coordinators and others. Popularization and propagation of Greek culture, language, skill, historical heritage is one of the latent tasks of sessions and programs. By the first sessions and the programs of International olympic academy were International session for young participants and session for the teachers and staff of physical training institutes of higher education.References
