Submissions
Author Guidelines
The editorial board accepts for consideration articles, translations, reviews, information on events in the field of philosophy of law and general theory of law.
Articles should: a) contain scientific novelty; b) consider leading modern publications on the relevant issue and the history of its consideration; c) comply with the scientific priorities of the journal.
Decisions to publish a submission are based on double-blind review.
Reprinting of materials published in the journal is carried out only with the permission of the author and the editorial board.
Preparation and Submission of Manuscript
The manuscript should contain:
• cipher according to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC);
• text of the article;
• bibliography;
• author’s name and surname, article title and keywords (5-10 words) in Ukrainian and English (non-English article should be accompanied by an abstract in English of at least 1800 characters, including keywords; non-Ukrainian article should be accompanied by an abstract in Ukrainian of at least 1800 characters, including keywords;
• information about the author in Ukrainian and English (name, surname, patronymic name, scientific degree, academic title, place of work, position, mailing address, email, phone number, ORCID ID)
Manuscripts should be between 20,000 to 40,000 characters (as agreed with the editors – up to 60,000 characters).
Fields – 2 cm; indent from the left edge – 1.25 cm; Times New Roman, 14-point font, line spacing – 1.5.
Abstracts: font 12; line spacing – 1.0; the indent is 1.0.
All information should be contained in a single file in .doc or .docх format. The file name should consist of the name of the author and the first 3-4 words of the title.
Manuscripts should be submitted in Ukrainian or English.

Rreferences and Citation
Rreferences should be provided in accordance with the Chicago style: notes and bibliography. Please consult the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition: https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide/citation-guide-1.html. References to cases and legislation should conform to the Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA). Please refer to OSCOLA for detailed information on citation style (p. 13–32).
References should be given in footnotes. Footnotes should be identified in the text by Arabic numerals and numbered in the order cited. You schould apply end-to-end numbering throughout the article. Footnotes should be printed in Times New Roman, 10-point font, line spacing – 1.0. Footnotes should be in the original language.
Quotations within the text are enclosed within external quotation marks «...», and quotations within quotations are given internal quotation marks internal “...”. If quotations run for five lines or more, they should be separated from the rest of the text, and should not be enclosed within any quotation marks. It is submitted in the text from a new line 12 in font at a single interval from the paragraph on the left for the entire citation. Before the quotation and after it comes one line of indentation.
If the author of the article underlines some words in it, a special reservation is made, for example: (italics mine. – S. I.).
The bibliography must be placed after the text of the article and compiled according to Chicago style: notes and bibliography. Sources are placed alphabetically. Journal names do not need to be abbreviated. The bibliography should be printed with a protrusion of 0.5 cm, font Times New Roman, font size – 12, line spacing – 1.0. The bibliography should be in English. The names of the Cyrillic sources must be translated, and at the end of the link indicate the original language, for example:
Sartre, Jean-Paul. Being and Nothingness: An Essay on Phenomenological Ontology. Kyiv: Osnovy, 2001 (in Ukrainian).
