Scope and Focus: new developments of philologists (Ukrainian and foreign) in such areas as theory and methodology of linguistics, literary studies, translation studies; cognitive semiotics, interdisciplinary discourse studies, ethnolinguistics, linguoculturology, psycholinguistics, linguophilosophy, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, corpus linguistics, etc.
Professional registration: is approved in the List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine (Category B) by the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Order No. 1643 of December 28, 2019).

Licensing: the authors retain copyright, and also grant the journal the right to publish original scientific articles that provide the results of experimental and theoretical research and are not submitted for consideration for publication in other publications. All materials are distributed under the terms of the CC Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license, which allows others to distribute the work with acknowledgement of the authorship of this work and the first publication in this journal.
Open access policy: "Messenger of Kyiv National Linguistic University. Philology Series" adheres to the open access policy. All articles are posted immediately after the current issue is published. Full text access to the journal's scientific articles is presented on the official website of the journal in the Archives section in real time.

Submitting articles
The editorial board accepts the following documents from authors:
– only an electronic version of the article (in .doc / .docx format);
− a certificate about the author in two languages (Ukrainian and English), which should indicate the surname, first name, patronymic, academic degree, academic title, name of the educational institution or scientific institution (affiliation), position, personal e-mail of the author, telephone number for contact; citation to the Web of Science and/or Scopus, Google Scholar profiles;
– a scanned review or an extract from the minutes of the department / academic council meeting with a recommendation for the manuscript to be published (except for authors who have been awarded the scientific degree of candidate or doctor of sciences).
