By Resolution of MES of Ukraine from 07.10.2015 № 1021  Collected Scientific Works "Scientific Issues of Ternopil National Pedagogical Volodymyr Hnatiuk University. Series: Art Studies " are included into the list of scientific professional editions of Ukraine.

Program objectives: publication of scientific and pedagogical innovation research results.

Peer Review Process

REVIEW POLICY

  1. The submitted articles are confidentially peer reviewed by internal and external reviewers. A "blind" review is carried out: the author and reviewer do not know each other. Lists of external reviewers are kept in the editorial board, anonymity of the reviewer is guaranteed. The purpose of the review is to improve the quality of scientific articles published in the journal.
  2. The editorial board informs the author of the outcome of the review by e-mail conclusion. If the members of the editorial board or independent experts have questions to the author about certain provisions, the article is returned to him/her for revision or correction. If the author does not agree with the comments of the reviewer, he/she must substantiate this in writing. Rejected manuscripts are not returned to the authors.

Frequency of magazine publication: 2 times a year.

The journal is published in June and December


Open Access Policy

The journal The Scientific Issues of Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University. Specialization: Art Studies” supports the Budapest initiative of open access ВОАІ (Budapest Open Access Initiative) to published content, observing the principles of free dissemination of scientific information and global exchange of knowledge for the sake of General social progress. This means that any publication in the collection has open access to it. All articles are free to view, read, download or print. The policy of the scientific collection is that there are no national, racial, religious, political or other types of restrictions for the publication of articles.

PUBLISHING ETHICS

ETHICAL STANDARDS FOR THE EDITORIAL BOARD

In taking the publication decision of a manuscript, the editorial board members are guided by current requirements concerning copyright, international scientomerical databases, and ethical standards adhered to by major publishers of scientific periodicals. All publishers, authors, reviewers and editors should be guided by these standards. Submission of articles by authors for publication means their automatic approval and familiarity with these standards. Should you have any questions, suggestions or complaints, please contact the editorial board.
The main principles: the editorial board, authors and reviewers are expected to adhere to the principles of academic fairness, peer review and editorial ethics.

 

  1. Accepted for publication are subject-related articles dealing with the particular problems, general issues, or methods of reasearch. They should represent original work not previously published. The papers should contain the following elements: the relevance of the subject, the results of the study, novelty and substantiation of the conclusion.
  2. By submitting his/her article to the journal the author agrees to its being published there, as well as to its being placed on the journal’s official website and in scientomerical databases.
  3. The publication decision is taken by the editorial board. The latter may recommend the author to make corrections or reject it altogether if it does not conform to the standards of the journal. When deciding upon publication, the editor takes into consideration the reliability of the material and the scientific significance of the article. He/she must evaluate the intellectual content of manuscripts regardless of the race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, origin, nationality, social status or political preferences of the authors. Unpublished data obtained from articles submitted for consideration should not be used for personal purposes or for transfer to third parties without the author's written consent. The information or ideas opbtained while editing should be kept confidential, and not be used for personal aims.

The editorial board should not leave manuscript reviews unanswered. In case of a conflict situation, it should take all necessary measures to restore violated rights.

  1. The editorial board reserves the right to:
  • minor edits and shortenings, while retaining the main results and author's stylistics;
  • not to publish information if there is sufficient reason to believe that it is plagiarized;
  • to amend and make corrections to the "Requirements for registration and submission of articles" without prior notice; in case of refusal to publish the manuscripts are not returned.
  1. All manuscripts are edited in accordance with current requirements for scientific publications and their registration.
  2. The materials placed in the journal reflect the personal point of view of the author, which may not coincide with that of the editorial board.

 

Citations:

  • all citations should be supplied with references to sources;
  • references to textbooks are not desirable;
  • references to the author's own publications are allowed only in case of urgent necessity;
  • secondary citation is not allowed;
  • if the name of a researcher is mentioned in the text, his/her publication should be indicated in the general references list at the end of the article;

 

Ethical standards for the authors:

  1. The authors of the articles are fully responsible for the content of the article, the authenticity of the material, compliance with the legislation on copyright and related rights, the accuracy of the data provided, the quality of the factual material (citations, proper names, formulas, statistics, etc.), the correctness and correctness of the quotations, references and translation
  2. The text of the article should beoriginal, not published anywhere previously in its current or similar form. The article should be submitted to only one publisher, in order to avoid potential conflicts of interest. Papers published in other jpurnals are not accepted.
  3. If there are several co-authors, please indicate all those who have made a significant contribution. It is unacceptable to include co-authors who did not participate in the study.
  4. The manuscript must not contain materials that violate the copyrights of other researchers (text and graphic materials).
  5. Authors should adhere to the principles of academic fairness and be responsible for plagiarism, in particular for incorrect paraphrasing without reference to the source.
  6. An article containing borrowings from materials of other authors without reference to the source, is not published; its author may submit some other material.
  7. If borrowings are found again, the editorial board reserves the right to refuse publication of the materials of this author in the future.
  8. If there are three or more grammatical errors on the page, the text is not accepted.
