Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • It is an original manuscript, is unpublished work, and is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • All authors have identified and addressed ethical considerations.
  • Authors have complied with guidance provided in the Authors Guidelines. The manuscript and abstract correspond to the journal’s format and reference list includes full details of all cited references in the APA format.

Terms of publication Requirements for publications The Editorial Board accepts for publication articles in Ukrainian and English that have not previously been published in printed or electronic publications. Articles of theoretical and methodological direction on the corresponding subjects are accepted to the scientific journal. No more than one article by one author can be published in one issue. 

Reviewing
Reviewing is an integral part of a scientific publication, which confirms its high quality. Articles undergo a two-way blind review procedure.

Antiplagiarism
Articles submitted for publication in the journal "Geoengineering" should not be published earlier and at the time of receipt in the editorial office should not be considered in other journals. Before publication in the journal, all articles are checked for borrowings (SrtikePlagiarism). Articles containing less than 80% of the unique text are not published in the journal.

The frequency of the magazine is 2 times a year ( June, November).

Sequence of structural elements.
- The UDC index is indicated in the upper corner in front of the information about the authors (font "Times New Roman" in bold, left alignment).
- Initials and surnames of authors, not more than 5, their scientific degree, academic title, position or profession (font "Times New Roman" bold, right alignment), ORCID, place of work or name of educational institution (font "Times New Roman" in italics, alignment to the right).
- The title of the article (font "Times New Roman" in capital letters, bold, centered, up to 9 words, the title should correspond to the content of the article, specific, without phrases like "Research question ...", "Some questions ... "," Problems ... ", Ways ...", "Changes ...")

Abstract in scientific article serves as an independent article from the same sources and taught language of the article. It allows you to evaluate the publication and determine your interest in it. The abstract should reflect the main content of the article according to the results of the study, contain 230-250 words and contain the following characteristics: Purpose, Methodology, Originality, Findings and practical implications..

Keywords: from 5 to 10 words (font "Times New Roman" italics, indentation of the text on the sides 0.5 cm, paragraph indentation - 0.5 cm, alignment in width, through the punctuation mark "; - semicolon")
- Article text (font "Times New Roman") is placed in one column of width alignment. Highlighting is done in italics or bold. The scientific article must meet the scientific profile and have the following structural text parts:

INTRODUCTION must contain the following text elements.
Actuality of theme. Problems in general and their connection with practical tasks.
Analysis of research and publications on which the author relies. Publications published not earlier than in 7 years including foreign authors are considered.
Problem - the purpose of the article.
MAIN PART with full justification of the obtained scientific results.
CONCLUSIONS and prospects for further research.
- REFERENCES consists of a list of used literature (Latin transliteration for old editions), it must consist of at least 10 sources (publications not earlier than 10 years - 50%) designed in accordance with the style of IEEE STYLE : (URL: www.ieee.org/documents/ieeecitationref.pdf ). All links must have a DOI. References to dissertations and abstracts, DSTU and DBN, methodological developments and guidelines, Wikipedia data and sites are not allowed. It is recommended to refer to the works of authors published in our journal.

- The date of receipt of the article to the editor is indicated after the text of the material (right alignment).
A separate letter compiles INFORMATION ABOUT THE AUTHORS of the article in Ukrainian and English, which must be given in a single sample in the specified order: SURNAME, name (in full), degree, academic title, position or profession, place of work,  be sure to ORCID, indicate scientific interests, phone, e-mail.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TEXT OF THE ARTICLE.
All abbreviations and acronyms , except for the generally accepted ones (DSTU, DBN, etc.), should be entered in the text in parentheses after the first mention of the corresponding full phrase and only then can they be used. Requirements and rules of word abbreviations according to DSTU 3582-97. All tables, figures, diagrams are referenced in the text of the article. All tables must have headings, and all figures and charts must be accompanied by captions. Signatures are done in italics in the center .
Requirements for formulas. Use Microsoft Equation 2003 or Math Type to write formulas (use of other editors, including 2007 or higher, is not allowed) 12 pt. Formulas should be inserted in a table that has a left alignment without a paragraph. Formulas should be placed in the middle of the height of the column with the center alignment. Number all equations sequentially. Numbering of equations in parentheses on the right side. After the formula, use a comma or period if the formula has no description.
Requirements for drawings. Drawings should be submitted directly in the text of the article. You need to insert pictures as an object, with access to text editing (including Microsoft Excel pictures). Images from the Internet and scanned must meet the quality requirements for printing (resolution - 300-600 dpi) and must contain a source of citation. Figures should be located in the center, without wrapping the
text and do not go beyond the fields, it is desirable to insert figures and subsequent caption in the table. All drawings must be editable.
Requirements for tables. Tables are presented in portrait orientation (except - in landscape for large tables). The length of the table is not more than one page. For capacious tables, a font size of 10–8 is allowed.
The symbols in the formulas and figures, as well as in the text of the article must be the same in size and font. Reduction of monetary, metric, time units (UAH, ml, km, h, min, s, etc.) and reduction of millions, billion to write without a dot. An inseparable interval should be placed between the numerical value and the abbreviated name of the unit of measurement.
It is necessary to indicate in the text the source of the quotations mentioned in the article and the factual data to which the author refers. The reference is made in square brackets. 
To increase the scientific authority and international rating of the scientific and technical journal "GEOENGINEERING", the editorial board asks to pay special attention to the fact that each publication in English is accompanied by information about the authors, title and annotation in Ukrainian of at least 1800 characters, including keywords (abstract in Ukrainian is the only source of information for foreign scholars); each publication in Ukrainian is accompanied by information about the authors, title and annotation in Ukrainian of at least 1800 characters, including keywords. The Ukrainian abstract should include the following data: Purpose, Methodology, Findings, Originality, Practical implications (Мета,  Завдання, Результати або методи дослідження, Наукова новизна, Висновки та практичне значення статті).
Translation authors' surnames, article titles, annotations and keywords in the second language must be of appropriate quality.
