Histostructure changes in proxymal and distal metaphyses of white rats' femoral bones under experimental hypokinesia

Abstract

With the use of histological and morphometrical methods we established, that under experimental hypokinesia conditions the proximal and distal metaphyses of white rats' femoral bones show the destructive changes of bone trabeculae. The calculations showed a significant decrease in the proportion of volume of bone trabeculae as compared with the control.
