The article considers the issues associated with structure modeling of competitive activity and the specific training of highly-skilled sportswomen, specializing in front crawl swimming stroke at distances of different lengths, psychophysiological, functional and technical - tactical characteristics of sportswomen of different distance specializations are studied, identified factors affecting the effective distance cover of different length in front crawl swimming stroke are determined and their model specifications are developed.
