Abstract

Dynamics of the festive culture of Prydniprovya region of Ukraine in 20-30 years of the 20th century is analyzed in the article on the base of the culturological approach. The dominant tendencies of this process are revealed. The author concludes that during this period, under the pressure of implementation «New Soviet holidays and rituals» was the purposeful destruction of traditional folk holidays
