Influence of the education level of the population on the human development index

Abstract

The questions connected with the concept of human development are analyzed, the basic idea of the concept of human development is considered, the connection between human development and indicators of economic growth is investigated. The methodology for calculating the Human Development Index (HDI) and its components using the UNDP methodology is studied. The dynamics of indicators of human development in Ukraine according to UNDP data is analyzed. In the study of the chosen topic, attention is paid to the indicator of the education level of the population of the country, the components of which are the average number of years spent on education, and the indicator of the expected duration of training
