Competent approach to the formation of modern journalists in modernization of education

The process of formation of a modern journalist is analyzed. The essence of the competent approach to professional training of journalists in the conditions of education modernization is revealed. The most important ways of forming professional skills of journalists in the process of journalistic education, focused on success are outlined. The inextricable link between the cognitive, practical and axiological components in the system of journalistic education is revealed, indicating that the current practice of training journalists the modern education paradigm is consistent
