Abstract

Textbooks in Ukrainian language as a foreign language are analyzed in the article. The specific use of these textbooks for Turkmenian students is investigated. The effectiveness of textbooks is analyzed and it is found that textbooks in English as intermediary for Turkmenian students is ineffective. More efficient; but not always; are those textbooks in which the intermediary language acts is Russian
