Professional (scientific) interests: the study of mechanisms of neurohumoral regulation of secretory processes in the stomach and the transport of water and electrolytes through the epithelium of the colon; the establishment of mechanisms of neurohumoral regulation of motor-evacuation function of the gastrointestinal tract; the investigation of the mechanisms of ulcer formation, cytoprotection, development of precancerous conditions in the mucosa of stomach and colon, the development of methods of their prevention; the analysis of the role of microflora from different habitats in the digestive tract in providing structural and functional state of the digestive organs, the development of new methods of surgical and pharmacological correction of diseases of the digestive system.
