Alternative ways of antismoking education of studying youth: what to be used instead of stories about harm for health

Abstract

The article describes recent practical experience in antismoking education of cadets of military educational institutions. Antismoking education is considered as an integral system of educational measures provided by commanding officers, tutors and teachers. Antismoking education is interrelated with drug use prevention as a whole. New approaches include: 1) use of socio-cultural themes in featuring tobacco, 2) specific conditions of educational process in a military high school.
