Abstract

To create a more accurate method of calculating the actual process of rectification established causes of errors calculations for the formal use of the concept efficiency of a plate. The above examples make it possible to quantify the errors in calculating the distribution of components over the height of the column and in the final results. Criterial dependences for determining the number of transfer units of the component are analyzed. Their comparison is carried out at calculation of air rectification at pure nitrogen production. The recommendations on their application are given. On a cellular model basis it is taken into account a cross-flow nature of the flow motion on a plate and shown its impact on the efficiency of the separation process. The effect of distribution of components throught of height of the column on the efficiency of the plates and the presence of the jump in efficiency when the extreme concentration are illustrated.
