INFLUENCE OF SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS OF INFORMATION ACTIVITY ON MANAGERIAL DECISION-MAKING

The purpose of the article is to carry out a comprehensive analysis of socio-psychological factors of information activity and to find out their influence on managerial decision-making. The methodological basis of the study is general scientific and special methods for studying the problem, in particular, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, generalization and abstraction, survey-analytical and classification methods, as well as description and comparison, which help to achieve the goal. The set of the methods made it possible to determine the role of socio-psychological factors of information activity, attitudes and stereotypes in the preparation and implementation of effective management decisions. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the generalization of the main approaches to the problem of ensuring effective managerial activity, adequate perception of information and making informed decisions in the informational sphere. The authors have stated that effective management activity should be based on the awareness of real socio-psychological phenomena that accompany the economic, political and spiritual-ideological processes of social development, on taking into account the ratio of the management efforts of the authorities and the internal trends of the development of society, on knowledge of the psychological features of individual and group behaviour, psychological foundations of managerial communication and the implementation of managerial influence. Conclusions. The study has proved that the effectiveness of the organization depends on the correctness of decisions. The most likely directions of application of the achievements of personality psychology in the field of information activity have been proposed. Intuitive, rational and judgmental approaches to the decision-making process have been characterized. A certain dependence between the types of decisions and the approaches to their adoption has been determined. The mechanism of group influence on the behaviour of an individual and collective decision-making has been considered and an effective way to overcome this phenomenon has been proposed. The main stages of decision-making have been characterized and the problems that arise at each of the stages have been identified. The main mistakes that managers make in the process of information activities and preparing decisions have been named. It has been noted that the process of effective decision-making is significantly influenced by objective and subjective factors. The authors have emphasized that necessary and sufficient condition for the effective solution of a specific problem is the presence of the decision-maker’s characteristics that are part of an objective set of psychological qualities, in particular the level of knowledge for assessing the situation, skills for solving similar problems, the ability to find a way out of the situation taking into account external and organizational conditions, the ability to predict the outcome of one’s activities and determine one’s attitude to the problem.

Electronic Archive as a Means of Quick Access to Management Information

The purpose of the article is to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the document flow of the city council and to develop models that will highlight the internal processes of electronic document flow after its implementation in the institution. The research methodology consists of the study of scientific works that highlight the methods of electronic archives and the storage of electronic documents in them, the analysis of the state of the city council in the implementation of information technologies in the work process of the institution and the selection of the necessary software, studying the economic possibilities of the institution and the prospects of using their electronic products in the field of document management. The scientific novelty consists in expanding the understanding of the need to modernize the document flow in state institutions of Ukraine, in particular in the city council, by analyzing the prospects of such innovations, detailing the internal processes of the electronic archive, and choosing a technological solution to the set goals. Conclusions. The transfer of state institutions to electronic archives will make it possible to speed up the processes of document circulation and save on the provision of physical archives. The implementation of online solutions for document management is becoming an increasingly common phenomenon because Ukraine is digitizing at a rapid pace, but problematic sectors remain, such as institutions in small towns and villages. The process of implementing electronic archives based on professional systems costs a lot of money, however, if the community does not have the necessary funds, it can be implemented completely free of charge with the help of Google Sheets. The system of electronic archives will allow institutions to work not only more efficiently, but also more safely because in times of war, there are always risks for employees, so if necessary, access to the system will be from any place where there is access to the Internet.

ELECTRONIC CULTURE: ACHIEVEMENTS AND GROWTH VECTORS

The purpose of the article is to consider the legal and organizational aspects of digitization of the electronic culture and outline the main problems of its achievement. The research methodology is based on the general scientific and special research methods: analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization of materials, induction, and deduction. The scientific novelty of the study is as follows: this study is one of the first complex works about electronic culture, aimed at forming a single complex of knowledge in the chosen field. The analysis of the Ukrainian legal documents in the system of electronic culture was carried out. The peculiarities of achieving the directions defined in the regulatory documents and the problematic aspects that prevent the non-fulfilment of certain planned goals are investigated. The author substantiates the approaches to defining virtual museums. The impeding factors of digitalization and the protection of cultural heritage were identified. Conclusions. To date, the main problems and achievements in the use of advanced technologies in the field of culture, or rather, the preservation of cultural heritage, including in museums, have not been sufficiently studied. Taking into account modern realities, museums remain the main guarantors of the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of the Ukrainian people. Museums continue to interact with visitors daily and respond to the needs of society. The latest technologies make it possible to view the works of famous artists in virtual museum environments, which ensure the accessibility of cultural heritage to the general public, especially limited mobility groups. Digital technologies make it possible to visually convey information to different audiences, allowing everyone to choose the content that best suits their interests. Digital technologies in museums help not only to store and record data about exhibits but also to communicate with visitors. Regular updating of the interactive content of the objects allows to establish a connection with the modern public for whom technology is important, transforming them from passive observers to active viewers.

Using Innovative Tools to Support and Monitor Open Science

The purpose of the article is to examine and describe the operational principles and functional capabilities of modern services and tools designed to monitor, support and analyse dissemination of research outputs published open access, which can be utilized by librarians to promote open science practices. The research methodology is based on a combination of scientific methods, incorporating content analysis of official web pages of tools and services, as well as methods of synthesis, systemic analysis, structural-functional analysis, and information-analytical methods. Scientific novelty. This article reviews modern tools, services and instruments, namely OpenAlex, BISON, COKI Open Access Dashboard, Journal Tracker Tool, OPTIMETA Plugins and others to support open scientific communication. It can be argued that development of open, non-commercial and shared infrastructure has the potential to vastly improve open access implementation. Conclusions. This study identified a number of innovative tools for analyzing and monitoring open access that can be used by librarians, researchers, and all interested parties. These tools are important for expanding and democratizing access to knowledge, overcoming territorial, institutional and disciplinary barriers. Improving open, non-profit infrastructure should be a key task on the path to implementing open science practices. Consequently, it is important for modern librarians to master their skills in working with open tools to monitor, analyze, and support open scholarly communication practices, given the evident potential of online tools in scholarly communication and their ability to disseminate the results of scientific activity.

Information and Communication Activities of Ukrainian Libraries in the Conditions of War

The purpose of the article is to comprehensively investigate the essence of information and communication activities of libraries in the conditions of the war between Russia and Ukraine and to determine the role of communication strategies in the implementation of their main tasks. The research methodology is based on systemic and value approaches, with the use of general scientific (analysis, synthesis, abstraction, generalisation, and others) and special methods determined by the multidisciplinary informational, communicative and socio-cultural research paradigm, which made it possible to comprehensively consider the specified problem and obtain appropriate results. The scientific novelty consists in understanding the general features of the library industry in the conditions of war. Conclusions. Library activity is one of the most important aspects of the functioning of the information and communication sphere of Ukraine, which intensified its activities during the war in order to improve the interaction between libraries and users. It has been proven that libraries in the information and communication space in wartime have undergone a process of transformation from a traditional environment to a social platform capable of resisting informational, cultural, and psychological influences of the enemy. It is noted that one of the effective strategic directions of its information and communication activities is the expansion of access to information for the audience of users both in Ukraine and abroad, and those who are in the occupied territory. Mass events aimed at supporting young people and pensioners are held; cooperation with volunteer and public organisations; work aimed at helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine and internally displaced persons; provision of information support; participation in charity events. It is emphasised that the information and communication activity of Ukrainian libraries in war conditions acquires special importance and functions on the principle of humanity, which is applied during armed conflicts and is closely related to related fields of international law reflected in national legislation. It is obvious that in wartime, libraries are almost the only social platforms for the promotion of education, legal education and upbringing in territorial communities. The war also activated new forms and methods of educational and explanatory work, the popularisation of library services that reflect the specific requests of users and meet the needs of the local population and the requirements of today. All this is an important indicator of the effectiveness and attractiveness of libraries as an informational and communicative multidisciplinary social platform in wartime conditions.

Modelling of Library Activity: Analytical Tools

The purpose of the research is to systematise and summarise known and new knowledge about analytical tools for modelling the activity of modern libraries in Ukraine. The research methodology is based on general scientific principles of comprehensive knowledge, complexity, systematicity, unity of theory and practice. The achievement of the set goal was facilitated by the use of general scientific (observation, analysis, synthesis, modelling, system approach, generalisation) and special (bibliographic, information diagnostics (express analysis), grouping) methods at the theoretical and empirical levels of research. The scientific novelty of the work consists in the systematization and generalisation of known (about models and modelling) and new knowledge (about the use of analytical modelling tools in the practical activities of Ukrainian libraries) from the point of view of the present and the perspectives of their development within the scope of one study. Conclusions. The place and role of the modern library in the global system of civilizational development is determined by its ability to be an information base for the development of human potential. That is, in today's changing world, the library is responsible for preserving, spreading and multiplying knowledge, comprehensive communication, providing a free, safe and comfortable space for learning and development, uniting communities and individual citizens. Researchers propose various models of modern library development: "Library – cultural and educational centre", "Library – scientific and information centre", "Library – public educational centre", "Library – digital hub", "Library – information and analytical centre" and others. It is clear that some models can be prioritised or combined. To build one or another effective model of the functioning and development of a modern library, appropriate analytical tools are involved in modelling: building a model canvas, brainstorming, visualisation, empathy map, SWOT analysis, and others. They help specialists generate innovative ideas, change the "rules of the game" to more effective ones, and practically transform the established form of library activity into a more perfect and modern one. Accordingly, during the implementation of the new model, document and information resources are updated, the level of communication is increased, the technological infrastructure is strengthened, the level of informatisation is increased, and the development of new competencies of specialists takes place.

Transformation of The Activities of Public Libraries of Polyd's Under the Conditions of Marital State

The purpose of the work is to represent the main areas of activity of Podillia public libraries under the conditions of martial law in Ukraine. The research methodology consists in the use of activity-based, human-centered and socio-communication approaches, which reflect changes in priorities in the functioning of the library and information sphere in the conditions of social threats. Also, general scientific (analysis, descriptive and generalization) and special (library) methods were used, which made it possible to realize the set goal. The scientific novelty of the presented work lies in the expansion of ideas about the role and significance of public libraries in Podillia in the life of communities during the difficult time of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The peculiarities of the main areas of activity of Podillia public libraries in the conditions of martial law in Ukraine are revealed. The relevance of the proposed topic is that work during the period of martial law in Ukraine shifted the emphasis on the priority of the basic functions of libraries, because they quite naturally, as socially oriented institutions, focused on the consolidation of the Ukrainian people on the way to Victory over the treacherous invader, which significantly increased their social role and positively affected their responsibility to society in general. Conclusions. It is proved that today the public libraries of Podillia are free public cultural and educational institutions that quickly provide open access to their own funds, information and knowledge for community residents (from preschoolers to the elderly, people with special needs) and all categories of remote users. successfully satisfy educational, leisure, spiritual, informational, educational, socialization and other needs of readers, try to "be everything to everyone". The priority of universal values in the activity of public libraries of Podillia, which in the conditions of martial law function in line with all-Ukrainian trends, put new tasks on the agenda, which are implemented through the active introduction of innovative forms, especially in the multimedia environment.

The purpose of the article is research and analysis of the effectiveness of interaction with library and archival funds in the context of modern information and communication technologies. Not only the general aspects of using library resources, but also the methods of searching for scientific information are analysed. It is also expected to provide specific and detailed recommendations aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of interactions with scientific foundations. Current opportunities for using library resources are considered, considering modern requirements for information technologies and communication standards. The article sets itself the task of revealing not only general principles but also important details of working with these funds, in particular emphasising optimal strategies for searching for scientific information. The research methodology is based on the analysis of the spectrum of scientific literature, covering theoretical and practical foundations in the field of using library and archival resources. The methods used for finding scientific information are not limited to traditional sources, including various databases and catalogues, as well as innovative information and communication technologies. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the improvement of strategies and approaches to the use of library and archival funds, where the main emphasis is placed on the use of advanced information and communication technologies. The article reveals the potential of these technologies for effective search and use of scientific information, emphasising the importance of introducing innovations into the field of research. Conclusion. The results of the study indicate the need for constant adaptation of methods of working with library and archival funds to the requirements and capabilities of information technologies. The use of various databases and other information resources is key to improving the availability of scientific information and ensuring the efficient work of researchers and students. This approach contributes to the development of the scientific community, and its implementation helps to highlight the importance of innovation in ensuring successful work in the fields of scientific research and higher education.

Internet Representative Offices of Libraries in the Period of Social Shocks in Ukraine: Theme Of Content

The purpose of the article is to highlight the online representation of Ukrainian libraries in the conditions of quarantine restrictions and martial law, to analyze the subject of the presented content. The methodological basis of the article was institutional, systemic, structural-functional and socio-communication approaches. Analysis, cognitive, synthesis, generalization and librarian methods are also applied. The scientific novelty of the study consists in arguing for the adaptation of the functioning of Ukrainian libraries in the conditions of quarantine restrictions and martial law of the library of Ukraine, when they reoriented their work to a remote form and offered online services and electronic products, actively started blogs, pages in social networks and created YouTube channels. Conclusions. On the website, blogs, pages of social networks, in a difficult period of social upheavals, the libraries of Ukraine cover both news of library life, as well as educational, entertainment, information, and local history materials. The bibliographic, factographic, and multimedia products created help to represent the cultural life of communities, creative, literary, and cultural achievements of prominent regions and present the best assets of Ukraine to the world. The epidemic, and then the full-scale war, put Ukrainian libraries in a situation where it is necessary to quickly respond to the urgent needs of society and do it mainly with the help of online services. This is what became for the majority a test of viability and stability, of professionalism and demand. During this time, most of the important and necessary resources were created, blogs, pages were launched in various social networks, YouTube channels were established, and new information technologies and products were actively introduced into library processes. Ukrainian libraries will be in demand and useful only through active development in the digital age.

Information Culture in the Library: Challenges Of Digitalization

The purpose of the article is to determine the main directions of information culture transformation in the space of modern libraries in the context of the challenges of the modern digital age. The methodology of the article is based on the combination of a systemic approach, which enabled the analysis of information culture as a multifunctional phenomenon, the involvement of logical, epistemological and ontological approaches in the systemic analysis contributed to the problem-theoretical understanding of the phenomenon under study. The basis of the work is the use of the following general scientific research methods: logical method - when building the research structure; analytical method - when understanding the interrelationships of different levels of information culture; semantic method - when clarifying the content of concepts; comparative analysis - to identify essential features of various scientific approaches to the analysis of the problem of digital competences of library workers; the methods of analysis, synthesis and generalization are used in the process of highlighting the most important aspects of information culture in the space of the library. The scientific novelty of the work is that: The work analyzes the essence of information culture as a dynamic multifunctional phenomenon, reveals its essential features in the context of the development of the modern digital age. In particular, 1) the competence features of information culture in the ethical, moral and legal plane are revealed; 2) the concepts of "information culture", "digital culture", "information literacy", "digital literacy" in relation to the library sphere are distinguished; 3) the content of digital competences of library workers in the conditions of modern challenges is clarified. Conclusions. Modern information culture in the space of the library can be presented as a system of standardized measures for digitization, preservation, popularization and communication to users of the set of material and spiritual values created by mankind, which appear as its knowledge potential, and is implemented by increasing the level of digital competencies of library workers. The information culture of the digital age is a dynamic phenomenon aimed at constant improvement and raising the level of digital competences - technological, educational, logical-intellectual, preservation of human dignity and human rights in ensuring equal opportunities for self-realization.

Research of Innovative Library Technologies and Activities of Libraries for Children in Dissertation Works of Ukrainian Scientists

The purpose of the article is to analyze the main directions of dissertation research by Ukrainian scientists regarding the use of innovative technologies in libraries, with an emphasis on libraries for children. The research methodology is based on the use of general scientific (analysis, synthesis, generalization, etc.) and special research methods based on the specifics of the scientific task (bibliographic, information analysis, descriptive content analysis, etc.). The scientific novelty of the study consists in highlighting the main directions of dissertation work on the use of information technologies in libraries for children, with an outline of the prospects for further research. Conclusions. The main task of the modern library is the constant expansion of its activities. In the conditions of digitization of society, access to them should be obtained by anyone who has a computer or other technological device connected to the Internet, and accordingly - to the library network. Therefore, in a modern library, in particular, a children's library, a wide variety of digital elements and resources are increasingly offered for use, all that is necessary for adaptation to new technologies and to meet the dynamic needs of users. The library should not oppose digitalization, but on the contrary - unite with it, the use of digital technologies should become a normal and necessary condition of its services. All these aspects of transformational changes should not only be taken into account in the activities of the library for children, but also actively studied within the framework of librarian science. At the moment, it is possible to note sufficient articulation in the dissertation works of Ukrainian scientists of the main aspects of informatization, which is considered the foundation of the development of digital technologies. However, the latter has not yet received significant attention in the work of librarians. In addition, it is worthy of attention to study the main directions, functions and components of digitalization of libraries for children, which, in our opinion, as high-tech multimedia environments involving the tools of the information and communication approach are able to implement the main tasks of the socio-cultural mission - socialization, inculturation, formation of interest in reading and teaching.

Information Resources for the Promotion of Tourist Agency Activities in Competitive Conditions

The purpose of the research is to study the potential of the website as an information resource for popularizing the activities of the travel agency in competitive conditions. To realize this goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks: establish the role of information and communication technologies in the company's promotion strategy in the tourist services market; to study the peculiarities of the use of information technology in the context of the activity of a travel agency; determine the functional features of the travel agency's website; determine the requirements for specialized sites in the field of tourism business. The research methodology consists in the use of general scientific methods. The application of methods of analysis, synthesis, logical generalizations made it possible to establish the role of information and communication technologies in the company's promotion strategy on the market of tourist services; to study the peculiarities of the use of information technology in the context of the activity of a travel agency; determine the functional features and requirements for the travel agency's website. The method of visualization in tabular and graphic form is used to present the resources of information and communication technologies in the promotion of the company in the market of tourist services. The scientific novelty of the work consists in clarifying the trends of deep interpenetration of information, communication, and marketing technologies in the activities of the company in the market of tourist services. Conclusions. The advantages of promoting the activity of a tourist enterprise using modern information, communication, and marketing technologies include: the possibility of communication with the target audience in real time; increasing resources for reaching the client base; improving the image of the tourist enterprise; the emergence of channels not only for the dissemination of information about services, goods or the company itself, but also for the sale of tourist products; improving the efficiency of communication with clients and reducing the costs of attracting new clients; simplifying the processes of registration of orders; application of remote technologies for consulting and customer service.

Technologies for the Reading Promotion as a Component of the Information Activities of the School Library

The purpose of the research is to develop a model for popularizing reading within the information activities of school libraries. The research methodology relies on modeling methods, content analysis, statistical approaches, grouping, and summarization. Research results highlight the role of online resources in promoting reading within school libraries. They present an informational and formal model for reading promotion, the utilization of digital tools, and an analysis of information resources within school libraries. A practical example underscores the significance of selecting an effective communication channel for engaging with students and increasing interest in reading. Survey results indicated a low level of reading among students, emphasizing the importance of adapting strategies to better engage the younger audience. Conclusions. Information technologies and online resources are pivotal for promoting reading and engaging users in school libraries. Analyzing practices, modeling promotional processes, and involving the target audience form the core of an effective reading development strategy in schools. Social media holds substantial potential for promoting reading among students, but a tailored approach to understanding their informational needs and selecting optimal communication platforms is advisable. Regularly analyzing library resources aids in identifying both strengths and weaknesses, refining reading promotion strategies. Considering students' preferences and needs in choosing communication channels is a crucial aspect of successful reading promotion.

Use of Innovative Marketing Technologies in the Field of Culture

The purpose of the article is to study the peculiarities of using innovative marketing technologies in the field of culture, in particular, their role in identifying and satisfying consumer demand for cultural products and services. The research methodology is based on the use of such methods as comparative analysis and synthesis to highlight the peculiarities of using innovative marketing technologies in the field of culture; philosophical and logical to reveal the role of innovative marketing technologies in identifying and satisfying consumer demand for cultural products and services. The scientific novelty of the work is that it analyses and substantiates the feasibility of using innovative marketing technologies in cultural institutions to create and promote cultural products and services and clarifies their role in effective communication with visitors. Conclusions. Today, cultural institutions have begun to use the Internet quite actively to promote their services and products, and online channels help them communicate effectively with consumers in any environment. This has contributed to the use of modern marketing technologies to promote cultural products and services in the virtual space and the use of such types of marketing as SMM, viral marketing, video marketing, mobile marketing, content marketing. That is why Internet communications, including social media, are becoming increasingly important for marketing. Cultural institutions have also begun to use identity, which is a full-fledged marketing tool that creates the desired image of the institution, identifies the cultural product with the brand. Cultural institutions must constantly use innovative approaches and new technologies to effectively operate and promote their cultural products and services, as interest in cultural services is rather slow. Therefore, the use of innovative marketing technologies by cultural institutions contributes to their success in the cultural services market, gives them a competitive advantage and helps to expand their audience.

Strategies for Promotion of Children’s Literature: Impact of Digital Transformations on Reading Experience

The purpose of the article is to study the influence of modern strategies for the popularisation of children’s literature through the prism of the influence of digital transformations on reading experiences. The research methodology are based on the use of general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, content analysis of modern literature. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the coexistence of modern digital technologies and the development of the children’s book market has been traced, the possibilities of Ukrainian and world publishing houses in addressing the possibilities of augmented reality technologies, working with the Internet, virtual reality have been highlighted. Conclusions. Monomedia, multimedia, and polymedia publications play an important role in the modern space of children's electronic literature. They contribute to the development of children's attention through the use of a number of interactive and digital technologies. Therefore, the strategic directions of popularisation of children's literature in the context of digital changes should be the development of electronic literature, the use of augmented and virtual reality technologies, the creation of educational applications and special programmes for reading books. It is important to create new, high-quality library environments with free access to information and serving readers in a comfortable space. This should be based on the use of information and communication technologies. Consequently, this study demonstrates that the use of digital technologies can be a productive and positive factor in the popularisation of children's literature. They complement the traditional reading experience, empower, offer new ways to engage with content, foster diverse skills and motivate children and young people to read.

The purpose of the article is to present a modern view of the transformation of library education in Ukraine through the prism of educational programmes of major 029 "Information, library and archival affairs" posted on the website of the Information System "Vstup.OSVITA.UA". The research methodology is based on the application of general scientific and special methods of cognition, in particular the system approach, analysis, synthesis, generalisation, logical and quantitative methods, and the method of visualisation of research results. Comparative and analytical monitoring of the "Vstup.OSVITA.UA" Information System was also used, which made it possible to identify educational programs of specialty 029 "Information, library, and archival affairs". The scientific novelty of the article lies in expanding ideas about the current state of library education in Ukraine, its transformation under the influence of digital technologies, and harmonisation with the International Standard Classification of Education. Conclusions. Some aspects of the implementation of the Library Development Strategy for the period up to 2025 "Qualitative changes in libraries to ensure the sustainable development of Ukraine" and the "Strategy for the Development of Higher Education in Ukraine for 2022-2032" were considered, which proved Ukraine's aspiration to global educational trends of the future. However, this process is quite slow. The information on the educational programmes of specialty 029 "Information, library and archival affairs" posted on the website of the Information System "Vstup.OSVITA.UA" was analysed and summarised. In addition, the transformation of library education takes place in the conditions of digitalisation of information activities and must correspond to real changes in the library and information complex. The creation of the Interagency Working Group on Reforming the National Classifier of Ukraine DK 003:2010 "Profession Classifier" will help to harmonise it with the International Standard Classification of Occupations ISCO-08. The national classifier DK 009:2010 "Classification of types of economic activity" needs revision, because it lacks the names of modern types of economic activity.

Formation of Professional Competence of Education Seekers During Production Practice

The purpose of the article is to highlight the influence of students' industrial practice on the formation of their professional competencies. The methodological basis of the article was formed by a complex of general scientific and special methods of scientific research. The principle of unity of relationship with modern conditions is used; regulatory and alternative approaches; methods of analysis, cognitive, structural-functional, descriptive, synthesis. Scientific novelty consists in the definition of the concept of "professional competence", the study of the peculiarities of the formation of the professional competence of students in the process of their industrial practice, the analysis of the main approaches to the assessment of practice. As a result, the mechanisms and approaches of passing and evaluating students' production practice are proposed. Conclusions. The urgent task of education is the reorientation of the educational paradigm of the institution of higher education to a student-oriented model. An effective way of updating the content and improving the quality of professional education, matching it with the modern needs of production, is the orientation of training programs on the competence approach and the creation of effective mechanisms for its implementation. Competence is an important result of the professional training of modern specialists in specialty 029 "Information, library and archival affairs" at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. By the professional competence of an information specialist, we understand the basic characteristic of his activity, which includes knowledge and skills and has the following defining characteristics: mobility of knowledge, lifelong learning, critical thinking. The priority direction of professional training of future specialists in the information field at KNUCA is the development of modern models of cooperation with the leading libraries of Kyiv and Ukraine.

The Peculiarities of Acquiring the Competencies of the Management and Event Organisation for the Graduates of Specialty 029 "Information, Library and Archival Studies"

The purpose of the work is to highlight the place and role of the educational component "Event Management" as a component of the educational programme of the first (bachelor's) educational level of speciality 029 "Information, Library and Archival Studies". The research methodology is the use of general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, generalisation and abstraction, review and analysis, description and comparison, which made it possible to identify the peculiarities of acquiring competencies in event management and organisation by graduates of speciality 029 "Information, Library and Archival Studies" through the study of the discipline "Event Management". The scientific novelty of the work is the generalisation and systematisation of knowledge about the discipline "Event Management" in the educational programmes of Ukrainian higher education institutions of the speciality 029 "Information, Library and Archival Studies", in focusing on its features in terms of the present and prospects for its development. Conclusions. The study has shown that the formation of competencies in event management and organisation for graduates of speciality 029 "Information, Library and Archival Studies" is an important component of their further development and employment. Due to the transformation of library and archive institutions into social and communication centres and the growing popularity of the event industry, there is a growing need for graduates who can plan, manage and execute events of various kinds. This necessitates the inclusion of educational components related to event technologies (Event Management, Creative Management, Event Technologies, Organization of Representative Events) The lecture material of such courses may include the study of event planning, the use of modern technologies for organising and promoting events, as well as budget management and other key aspects of the event industry. During practical training, students can organise real events, where they will have the opportunity to gain experience in planning and executing various types of events, such as corporate conferences, creative evenings.

Innovative Approaches and Information Technologies in Organizational Support of Educational Activities

The aim of the article is to develop a new approach to organizing educational activities in higher education institutions that aligns with the goals and principles of the Bologna Process, specifically aiming to promote flexibility, mobility, and the improvement of the quality of higher education in accordance with the standards adopted in the European Higher Education Area. To address the set tasks, a complex of research approaches and methods was employed: the literature review method – to investigate literary sources and analyze previous studies on the use of business simulations, particularly in higher education, and their impact on the educational process; the abstraction method – to identify components of modern business simulations; "Lean Canvas Analysis" – to analyze key components of the IT application's business model. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the development of a concept for establishing active collaboration between higher education institutions and enterprises in the education process of learners using information technologies. Conclusions. The research highlighted the importance of transforming educational business simulations from a simple element of methodological support into a key tool for organizational support in higher education institutions. Considering these aspects, further research and development of business simulations in educational programs can significantly improve the quality of preparing learners for professional activities. Overall, the use of business simulations in education can contribute to more effectively implementing the principles of the Bologna Process, fostering the qualitative preparation of learners and their readiness for the challenges of the modern job market. The innovative approach proposed in the paper for forming an individual educational trajectory based on stakeholder proposals provides learners with the opportunity to acquire practical skills that meet real workplace needs. It also ensures that enterprises have access to highly qualified professionals with experience in their field.

Competences of a Library Specialist as a Factor in the Formation of Innovative Media Space

The purpose of the work is a systematic analysis, substantiation and determination of the key competencies of a library specialist, necessary for the successful implementation of innovations in the media space of modern libraries and improvement of the quality of user service. The work methodology. A systematic review of the literature was carried out, which analyzed scientific publications and studies related to the competencies of library specialists and their influence on the formation of innovative media space. An empirical approach was used, which includes surveying library professionals to collect specific data on their competencies and experience in implementing innovations in the media space of the library. Scientific novelty. The research is focused on the integrated analysis of the key competencies of the library specialist and the development of recommendations for improving the efficiency of library practices, taking into account the modern requirements for library work and rapid changes in the information environment. The article reveals an innovative approach to considering competencies as a dynamic tool aimed at actively introducing innovations into the media space of libraries, ensuring their adaptation to the challenges of the digital age. Conclusions. The key competencies required for a librarian in the age of digital transformation are highlighted, such as information literacy, digital media skills, and professional communication. Mastering modern technologies, in particular interactive and multimedia, allows a librarian to provide users with innovative services and meet their information needs. A systematic approach to competence development is proposed, including education, training and continuous professional development to ensure the relevance of skills. It is emphasized that the development of the competences of the library staff contributes to the improvement of the quality of user service and creates a foundation for innovations in the media space. Recommendations for the list of professional competencies that can be taken into account in the Professional Standard "Library and Information Specialist" in the context of the development of the innovative media space of libraries have been formulated.
