Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The uniqueness of the article is more than 80 % (The executive secretary checks the article for uniqueness using the official Unicheck service. If the uniqueness of the article is less than 80 %, the article will not be accepted (in accordance with the standard of the KhNAHU STVNZ 85.1-01:2021)).
Author Guidelines
1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1.1. Articles written in Ukrainian, English, German or Polish which were not published earlier and were not submitted for the publication to other editions are accepted.
Article has to be issued in a proper way:
- the UDC index (at the beginning on the left)
- the title of the article (in bold, regular type in the center);
- the information about the author in Ukrainian or another language (in accordance with the language of the article). Last name, first name and patronymic are on the left (in the Nominative case and in a bold-face type)), science degree, academic title, position, place of work (without abbreviations); the city; the country; city index, e-mail, ID (in the system of scientific identification, if the author is registered in ORCID, ResearcherID or in SCOPUS) (specify if available);
- the Abstract in Ukrainian or the other language (in accordance with the language of the article). The summary should be structured: problem statement, purpose, methodology, results, scientific novelty, practical significance. The volume of each summary has to be not less than 1800 signs (with spaces) in article language (if article is written in Ukrainian or English). Each Abstract and key words (6-8 words) should begin with the paragraph.
• the text of the article;
• the list of the used sources should include not less than 10 names, issued according to standards (DSTU 8302: 2015) and its transliteration in compliance of the rules stated in the Resolution of KMU No. 55 "About regulating of a transliteration of the Ukrainian alphabet in Latin" of January 27, 2010 which should be arranged according to ARA style;
• two abstracts in Ukrainian (if article is written in other languages) and English, or in English (if article is written in Ukrainian). Abstracts have to be identical according to contents and structure. The volume of each abstract has to be not less than 1800 signs (in English or Ukrainian). The order of writing of each abstract is the following: last name, first name and middle name; the title of article (to allocate with a bold-face direct type); (begin from the paragraph) the text of the abstract; (begin from the paragraph) keywords (from five to eight).
1.2. Article should contain the following structural elements of the scientific article in compliance with requirements of the Resolution of Presidium of SCADT (State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles) of Ukraine (No. 7-05 / 1 dated January 15, 2003), namely:
- Statement of a problem in a general view and its connection with important scientific and practical tasks;
- The analysis of the last researches and publications in which the solution of this problem is begun and which the author leans on;
- Unresolved components of a common problem - allocation of parts of a common problem unresolved earlier which article is devoted to;
- Formulation is more whole than article (problem definition);
- Statement of the main material of a research with full justification of the received scientific results
- Literature.
In the text of the article the above-mentioned elements must be highlighted in bold italics.
2. METADATA
2.1. Article must contain metadata which include:
a) the surname and initials of the author(s);
b) the scientific degree of the author(s);
c) the place of work or training (without abbreviation), the full address, e-mail, ID (in the system of scientific identification ORCID, Researcher ID or SCOPUS);
d) the title of article;
e) the abstract (the volume has to be not less than 1800 signs);
e) keywords (not less than 5, but no more than 8).
2.2. The presence of full volume of metadata is prerequisite.
2.3. All metadata should be in two or three languages: Ukrainian, English and language of article.
2.4. Metadata is published in the collection of publications and stored in corresponding domestic and foreign information and scientometric bases.
3. ABSTRACT REQUIREMENTS
The abstract to the article has to be structured, original, informative and it must include the following data:
1. Statement of a problem, purpose and tasks of the article
Example: “Despite a significant amount of discussions which concern problems of improvement of transport service quality still not enough attention was paid to determination of quality of separate business processes of the offer and provision of motor transport services.”
2. Method or methodology of the work
Example: “... based on the method of constructing graphs…”
3. Results of the work, their scientific novelty
Example: "In article the technique of estimation of business processes gained further development..., which, unlike existing one, is based on …."
4. Field of the results application. Practical significance.
Example: "… allows the motor transportation enterprises to increase level of competitiveness due to ...."
5. Conclusions
Example: "The received results which include..., allow for further research on the issues …"
4. OTHER OBLIGATORY INFORMATION
4.1. Together with the article the author(s) have to provide contact information for the solution of possible questions: phones and e-mail (phone is not published anywhere).
4.2. For authors who live outside Kharkiv contact information also has to contain the full postal address for sending the author's copy of the collection.
4.3. If the article has the individual author who does not have a scientific degree, apart from the article file the review of the supervisor must be provided in graphical format, certified by signature and seal. If one of the co-authors has a degree, a review is not necessary.
4.4. Existence of UDC and the list of references is obligatory.
5. ARTICLE GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
5.1. The article is accepted only in the form of one file: the text should be in format.doc or docx;
5.2. The text of the article has to be typed by Times New Roman font, font size is 16, a line spacing is 1, fields of the page: top is 3.0 cm; lower is 2.2 cm; right and left are 2.2 cm. The paragraph is 1.25 cm.
5.3. The volume of article must be not less than 8 pages, including tables, schedules, drawings and the list of references.
5.4. The list of references is made out according to DSTU 8302:2015, and the transliterated literature according to ARA style.
5.5. Article has to be arranged in the following order:
- the UDC index is specified in the left top corner (font size is 16);
- one space below the article title is typed (font size is 16 bold, in capital letters)
- one interval below a surname and initials of the author(s) (bold, in capital letters), academic degree, place of work and other data (font size is 14) are typed;
- on the next line the E-mail and the ID are specified (in the system of scientific identification) (the font size is 14)
- after one interval the abstract begins from the paragraph (not less than 1800 signs) with font size 12, italics. The word "Abstract" is highlighted in bold type, italics;
- through one interval from the paragraph keywords (not less than 5, but no more than 8) with font size 12, italics are specified. The word "Keywords:" is highlighted in bold type. Language of metadata has to correspond to article language;
- after one interval from the paragraph the text of article with elements, according to requirements of SCADT of Ukraine is provided;
- after one interval from the paragraph the literature used by the author (font is 14) is given by the general list. The word "Literature" is highlighted in bold type. References to the relevant sources placed in the list of references are provided in the text of the article in square brackets;
- after one interval, a transliterated literature (References) is given in the paragraph (font size is 14). The word "References" is highlighted in bold.
- after one interval from the paragraph the specified metadata in English languages are given. Their typing and design are carried out in the same manner.
6. FORMULAS
Formulas have to be executed in the standard mathematical symbolic in the editor of Math Type or Microsoft Equation. Symbols of formulas should have the following dimensions (in the editor's settings in the SIZE - DETERMINE menu): normal is 16 pt, large index is 10 pt, small index is 8 pt, large symbol is 18 pt, small symbol is 14 pt. Formulas are located in the center of a line, without paragraph, serial number of the formula is on the right part of the page in parentheses. Before and after a formula an interval is 10 pt. 7. LETTERS
Letters of the Greek and Ukrainian alphabets, the Roman and Arab figures and also mathematical functions have direct inscription. For example: sin, Пзар, max. Letters of the Latin alphabet have italic tracing, for example: hi 1, Vmin.
8. DRAWINGS AND GRAPHICS
The drawings executed in the graphic editors compatible with Word are placed in the text without runaround. The name of the drawing is placed under it in the center, without a paragraph, in bold, font size is 14. For example:

9. TABLES
The table has the heading "Table" (font size is 14, italics, alignment on the right edge with number without a dot). The name of the table is placed on the next line in the center, without paragraph, (font size is 14, bold, without a dot at the end). Before the heading "Table" and after the table there has to be an interval. For example:

10. LITERATURE
The references should be completed in accordance with the requirements of DSTU 8302:2015. ‘Bibliographic record. Bibliographical description. General requirements and rules of formation’ (Kyiv: DSTU of Ukraine, 2016). Example of literature with the DSTU standard

The ‘REFERENCES’ unit is given after the reference list in order to include actively the publications in the circulation of scientific information, and for their correct indexing by scientometrical systems. To do this, along with the duplication of the items of the references made in Latin, a list of Cyrillic sources in the transliterated form is given. Quotes should be made in accordance with the international standards.
Transliteration is carried out depending on the original language in accordance with the No. 55 Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated January 27, 2010 ‘About regulation of transliteration of the Ukrainian alphabet in Latin’ (for Ukrainian) and the requirements of the No. 26 order of the FCS of Russia dated February 3, 2010 (for the Russian language).
The references should be completed in accordance with the APA International Standard (American Psychological Association Style).
The description of Cyrillic sources should be transliterated by using the automatic transliteration systems.
