The article is devoted to the problems of development and implementation of information systems to support educational activities of higher education institutions in the context of digital transformation. It is shown that the current scientific and practical problem for higher education institutions consists in the creation of web-based information-analytical systems to support educational activities of structural units of higher education institutions as integrated systems able to solve a wide range of information processing and decision-making problems and interact with them in real time. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign experience, technical and functional requirements for such systems are determined, the need for integrated use of system, process and design approaches in their design, creation and implementation is substantiated. The research goal is the automation of information processing related to the organization of the educational process by university educational units, unification of electronic document management processes at the university, ensuring its statistical reporting and support of management decisions based on students performance data analysis by developing web-oriented information-analytical system within the framework of concentric information technology. The paper proposes a model of filling the system database with information for the formation of initial documentation on student educational activities, in particular European standard diploma supplements. The business processes taking place in the university educational environment are also modeled and designed.
The key stages of information-analytical system of educational activities of higher education institutions structural divisions and its basic modules support creation, such as: modeling, designing and development, and also features of their implementation by university itself with involvement of IT companies professionals as moderators, are considered. On the basis of purposeful and complex use of modern approaches and design and programming technologies the basic modules of the web-oriented information-analytical system for educational activities support of higher education institution which are introduced in the activities of structural divisions of Cherkasy State Technological University are created.
