Educational potential of mothers in the formation of the future personality

Abstract

The article analyses the influence of maternal education on the formation of a child’s personality. It has been found that disharmonious system of family upbringing and broken relationship between mother and child lead to the negative consequences such as the occurrence of mental and physical abnormalities in a young person, which complicates the process of socialization. There have been determined the conditions for the effectiveness of family education as well as psychological and pedagogical features of maternal education that one needs to consider when planning forms and methods of educational work.
