Abstract

The article reveals the essence of the phenomenon «methodological competence» in the foreign and domestic literature, provides the analysis of the modern scholars’ main approaches to the interpretation of the essence of such concepts as «methods», «methodological», «methodological competence»; defines the significance of the methodological competence in the professional and pedagogical activity of the elementary school teacher.
