Results of theoretical and experimental investigations of an 8-element antenna array with 45°-slant polarization in the frequency range 8–12 GHz are presented. Radiators of an antenna array are designed as the rectangular horns with a small flare angle. Main features of the antenna array are essential distinction of radiation patterns in horizontal and vertical planes and required values of gain factor versus frequency. Simplicity and adaptability for manufacturing of the design are provided by using a E-plane power divider for a feed of the antenna array. Configuration and dimensions of the power divider, providing high-quality matching of the antenna array with the feed rectangular waveguide, have been determined by numerical optimization. A prototype of an antenna array has been designed, manufactured and tested. Numerical and experimental results are in good agreement.Published
