Application of the coherence matrix for the analysis of polarization-sensitive devices

A procedure of studying a propagation process of partially polarized waves through devices converting polarization is considered. The procedure is based on the application of the coherence matrix whose elements contain in the explicit form the information about wave polarization parameters.References
