The algorithm of linear antennas array radiation pattern formation for shipboard radar is proposed, which, at the cost of tuning two antenna array elements only, provides practically full suppression of side lobes of the array radiation pattern (RP) at any azimuth angle beyond the main lobe area. This gives the possibility of separated surveillance of signals from vessels with large and small target cross sections, at equal ranges and close azimuth angels. The results of the RP calculations for different scenarios are given. The possibility of twinning points of suppression at the expense of symmetric RPs is shown.References
