The analysis of water layer influence on the radiation characteristics of reflector antennas is performed. Gains and radiation patterns of antennas of various geometries are calculated using the method of physical optics and solution of the model scattering problem for a dielectric layer on a conducting substrate. It is shown that the proposed method of calculation provides a good agreement with experimental results.References
