The choice of hormonal contraception in women of reproductive age who are infected with human papilloma virus

Aim and Methods. To address the issue of selection of hormonal contraception in women of reproductive age who are infected with human papilloma virus (HPV) were carried out immunohistochemical studies of the tissues of the cervix to determine the level of estrogen (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) and their ratio at 120 women diagnosed with HPV-high risk types (16,18, 32,33 types) and 120 healthy women who is OK with different content of ethinyl estradiol.
Results and conclusions. The results showed that the use of ultra-low-dose oral contraceptives containing 15-20 mcg of ethinyl estradiol can be recommended as the optimal method of hormonal contraception in women of reproductive age who are infected with human papilloma virus (HPV).
