Educational and national orientations of Russian national minority of Transcarpathia in the 40-90 years of XX century

The article investigates the Russian national minority which was the youngest in Transcarpathia. It had been formed during1944-1990 by a deliberate state policy and played a role in the political and ideological domination of the Soviet regime. At the same time, it played an important past in the process of linguistic Russification and assimilation of the local population. Their quantitative growth is fully connected with the constant influx of Russian-speaking migrants and processes the Russification of the local population.
