The experimental researches for hybrid Rayleigh step bearing at the different regimes of exploitation are investigated. Comparative analysis and the analysis of test data with theoretical calculations of the bearing static characteristics on the basis of thermohydrodynamic lubrication equalizations were carried out. The fundamental aspects of the test, concerning to hybrid bearing, the test procedure at the experimental facility, installed sensors taring, controlling and reading are determined
