Інформація в сучасному суспільстві є особливою категорією буття, яка генерує сучасні структури та соціально-політичні механізми, пов’язані з розвитком інформаційних технологій. Оскільки проблеми інформаційного суспільства викликають особливий інтерес в суспільній свідомості, здійснено спробу аналізу моделювання наукової інформації шляхом представлення основних типів наукових метафор через процес активізації їх у соціальній комунікації.
