В статье представлены данные по распространенности наследственных заболеваний нервной системы в наиболее изученых популяциях мира; охарактеризованы процессы формирования генетической модели популяций. Дано описание украинской популяции с учетом особенностей микроэволюционных процессов; рассмотрены морфологические основы антролопологического типа украинцев. Представлены исторические этапы образования и современные особенности одного из этно-территориальных ареалов украицев – Слобожанщины
