В роботі розглянуті питання психологічних і психіатричних аспектів впливу на дитину онкологічного захворювання, на основі чого зроблено висновок стосовно того, що різноплановість проблем у дитячій психоонкології обумовлює і багаторівневість та різносторонність медичної, психологічної та психосоціальної допомоги і психореабілітації дітей, що страждають на онкологічні захворювання, а також їх батьків.
