Welcome address from the rector of the SHEI «PSTU», Dr. Sc., professor Olena V. Khadzhynova to the readers of the journal

I have the honor to address you with sincere greetings and to present a new issue of the collection of scientific papers “Reporter of the Priazovskyi State Technical University. Section: Technical Sciences”, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of our university.

Over the years of its work, the Priazovskyi State Technical University has gained recognition in Ukraine and beyond. Here, the traditions of a technical school, an innovative approach, and the creative energy of lecturers, researchers, and students have come together, driving the development of education, science, and industry every day.

After the forced relocation from our native Mariupol to Dnipro, the university has honorably withstood the test of time. We preserved our community, traditions, and scientific potential, and proved that the strength of a university lies not in its walls but in the people who believe in the mission they serve. Today, PSTU continues to train highly qualified specialists, conduct relevant research, and contribute to the recovery and development of Ukraine.

Despite challenging circumstances, the university remains open to cooperation, modernizes educational programs, and expands partnerships with enterprises, educational institutions, and international organizations. We create learning conditions that meet modern challenges—combining traditional approaches with digital technologies, supporting young scientists, and fostering the development of new ideas.

Our university is a space for those who seek knowledge and change. Here, new ideas are formed, projects are born, and professionals grow - professionals who bring honor to PSTU in Ukraine and beyond. We take pride in the achievements of our lecturers, students, and alumni who enhance the good reputation of the university in science, industry, education, and public life.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank everyone who is part of the history and present of the Priazovskyi State Technical University - colleagues, partners, students, and graduates. I wish each of you inspiration, confidence in your own abilities, and new achievements for the prosperity of our university and our native country!

It is an honor to address you with sincere greetings and to present the 50th anniversary issue of the journal «Reporter of the Priazovskyi State Technical University. Section: Technical Sciences». This issue is particularly special as it marks the 30th anniversary of the journal's founding.

The publication began its history on April 10, 1995. This was preceded by a significant scientific breakthrough at the university: the formation of scientific schools, the presence of experienced researchers, a strong printing base, and a desire to share research results with the world.

Since 1997, the publication has been officially included in the list of specialized journals, and since 2020, it has been categorized as "B."

The journal covers a wide range of technical sciences, including engineering, automation, energy, metallurgy, materials science, biomedical engineering, computer science, electronics, transport, environmental protection technologies, and more. This diversity allows for the unification of specialists from different corners of Ukraine and the world, fostering interdisciplinary exchange of ideas.

Over the years, more than 2,500 articles have been published, containing the results of fundamental research, practical developments, and ideas that gradually shape the modern technical landscape both in Ukraine and beyond its borders.

The editorial board of the journal includes well-known, highly qualified scientists, including researchers from leading universities in Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States, Greece, Egypt, and Poland. This representation allows the journal to consistently maintain a high level of peer review and uphold its authority within the scientific community.

Like the entire scientific community, the journal faced the full-scale aggression and military actions in 2022. Despite the extremely challenging circumstances, the editorial board not only maintained the regular publication of the journal twice a year but also ensured the publication of nearly 150 scientific articles. This gives every reason to assert that the fiftieth issue is just another milestone in the development of the journal!

According to the Law of Ukraine "On ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as a state language" requirements for the language of publication of scientific articles have been changed

"Scientific publications are published in the national language, English and / or other official languages of the European Union. When article is published in English and / or other official languages of the European Union, the published materials have to be accompanied by an annotation and a list of keywords in the national language."

Please note that it is necessary to specify the DOI at every citation of your article. Also, the DOI indication is important for works to which it is assigned. You can check for DOIs at http://search.crossref.org/.

Information about the articles of the journal has been added to the European database of articles that are in the open access, Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe (OpenAIRE). This repository covers sources of information in all fields of knowledge and has a volume of more than 11.5 million scientific publications (scientific articles, dissertations, books, lectures, reports, etc.), obtained from 610 repositories in 52 countries.

Information about "Reporter of the Priazovskyi State Technical University. Section: Technical sciences" has been added to the catalog of scientific resources of open access ROAD. This service was offered by the ISSN International Centre with the support of the Communication and Information Sector of UNESCO. ROAD is in line with the actions of UNESCO for promoting Open Access to scientific resources. ROAD is complementary to the Global Open Access Portal (GOAP) developed by UNESCO and providing a snapshot of the status of Open Access to scientific information around the world.

According to the Order, the requirements for the articles in our journal have been adjusted, specifically the requirements for the size of annotations: for articles not in English, the size of annotation in English - not less than 1800 characters, including keywords; for articles not in Ukrainian, the size of annotations in the Ukrainian language is not less than 1800 characters, including keywords
