Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • This submission has not previously been published or forwarded to other editions (The necessary explanations are given in the comments below)
  • The submission file is a document in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, RTF or WordPerfect format.
  • The Internet links in the text are accompanied by full correct URLs
  • The text is typed in the 12th size of the bowling alley with a single line spacing; the author's accents are italicized, not underlined (everywhere except URLs); all illustrations, graphs and tables are placed directly in the text, where they should be in content (and not at the end of the document).
  • The text complies with the stylistics and bibliography requirements set out in the Manual for the authors in the section "about the journal"
  • If the material is submitted to the peer-reviewed journal section, the instructions for the Blind Review Guarantee were followed in designing of the submission file.

General provisions

« Herald of the Donbas State Pedagogical University. Series: socio-philosophical problems of development of man and society» practices open access policy for users based on the principles of free dissemination and sharing of scientific information.

The Scientific Editorial Board adheres to the ethical standards adopted by the international scientific community, based on the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics as well as on valuable experience from reputable international journals and publishing offices. The authors are fully responsible for the accuracy and content of the articles.

Requirements for formalization of articles

Articles that meet the requirements of the State Customs Committee of Ukraine are accepted for printing and have the following necessary elements: statement of the problem in general form and its relation to important scientific or practical tasks; analysis of the latest research and publications, where the solution to the problem is begun and on which the author relies on, started solving this problem and which the author relies on, highlighting previously unresolved parts of the general problem to which this article is devoted; formulating the goals of the article (setting the task); presentation of the main research material with full justification of scientific results; conclusions from this study and prospects for further exploration in this direction.

When reviewing scientific information on the subject of the article, be sure to analyze the latest publications on the sites:

  3. http://www.doaj.org (1,8 million),
  4. http://www.elibrary.ru (20,0 million).

Articles which do not meet the requirements of professional articles are not accepted for printing.

Articles are published in Ukrainian, Russian or English languages.

Article size is 10-12 pages. Field sizes: left - 20 mm, right - 20 mm, upper - 20 mm, lower - 20 mm. Articles should be prepared using a Microsoft Word text editor. Article font - Times New Roman Cyr, interval 1.0, size - 14 рt.

Manuscript submission deadline:

· Until November 1, every year;

· Until May 1, every year

Structure of the article

  1. 1. Index UDC (Universal Decimal Classification) - in the upper left corner of the page in the first line with the alignment on the left edge (Times New Roman 12,bold style),
  2. Name of the article: should be short (up to 10 words), adequately reflect its content, correspond to the essence of the scientific problem under study. At the same time, you should avoid the names that begin with the words: "Investigate the question ...", "Some questions ...", "Problems ...", "Ways ...", which do not sufficiently reflect the essence of the problem, (center alignment, bold, TNR 14, all letters сapital).
  3. Name and surname of the author (in capital letters), academic title, academic degree: right-aligned, (normal font, bold, TNR 14).
  4. Place of work: name of institution, locality (area, region), country (right-aligned, plain font, TNR 14). Please note that it is not the arbitrary translation, but the conventional or official name of the institution, which is indicated on its website and in the founding documents!
  5. Email Address: right-aligned, (italic font, TNR 14). ORCIDID(registration on the website – https://orcid.org/register)
  6. Annotation: (bold font); annotation text (normal font, TNR 12, width alignment). Annotation volume should be at least 150 words.
  7. Key words (6–10 individual words and / or multiple phrases) – TNR 12 font; in front of the list in italics indicate "Keywords:" section mark - semicolon «;».
  8. The main text of the article should be structured and have the following necessary elements (in bold in the text of the article):

-       statement of the problem in general form;

-       analysis of the latest research and publications, where the solution to the problem is begun and on which the author refer to; 

-       highlighting previously unresolved parts of the general problem the article is devoted to; 

-       formulating the goals of the article;

-       presentation of the main research material with full justification of the scientific results; 

-       conclusions from this study and prospects for further development in this direction;

  1.  REFERENCES (bibliographic description of sources used in the preparation of the article in the original language) are provided at the end of the article (TNR - 12, interval - 1). It should include at least 10 references. Most sources should reflect the current state of research and be no older than 3-4 years. Not more than 20% of self-references are allowed for each of the co-authors The list of literary references is given without numbering, in alphabetical order, and not in the order of mentioning in the text. Bibliographic references of the used literature should be made in accordance with the standard "DSTU 8302: 2015. A system of standards for information, library and publishing. Bibliographic note. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules of compilation ». All sources must have a DOI, a digital object identifier (except for retroeditions), which is indicated by a space after the bibliographic description of the source. DOI publications can be found on the website https://www.crossref.org/;
  2. The block in Russian is formalized similarly to the corresponding elements in Ukrainian. Annotation volume is at least 150 words.
  3. The English block is formalized similar to the corresponding elements in the Ukrainian language.
  4. Extended "Abstract" (author's resume in English). Volume 2200-2800 marks and keywords in English (from 5 to 10 words). The abstract should be clear and informative (lack of general phrases, other secondary information), original (not to be a tracing paper in Ukrainian or Russian abstract) meaningful (reflect the main content of the article), structured (written as a single paragraph of text, but follow the order of description of the results in the article), "English" (written in high-quality English). The text should be connected, to combine sentences, you should use expressions «consequently», «moreover», «for example», «the benefits of this study», «as a result» etc. The abstract should be written in its own words, not from
  5. the text of the article and repeat the structure of the article: іntroduction, аnalysis of publications, purpose, results, conclusion.
  6. References – the transliterated alphabetical list of references (in Latin letters) should be in accordance with the standard АРА (American Psychological Association). You can apply for citation in accordance with the APA style on the website of online automatic forming linking: http://www.citationmachine.net/apa/cite-a-book або http://www.bibme.org/apa/book-citation/manual.

WARNING!!! It is obligatory for all authors who do not have a scientific degree, an external review recommendation made by a doctor or candidate of sciences - a specialist in the chosen scientific field of the collection.

Manuscripts are subjected to internal review by members of the editorial board of the compilation . The article may be returned for revision. The final conclusion on the publication of the article is made by the editor-in-chief on the submission of one of the members of the editorial board.

The names and email addresses given by users of this journal's site will be used solely to perform the internal technical tasks of this journal; they will not be distributed or transmitted to outsiders.
