Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- Це подання раніше не було опубліковане і не надсилалося до розгляду редакціям інших журналів (або у коментарях для редактора нижче дані необхідні пояснення).
- Файл подання є документом у форматі Microsoft Word.
- Інтернет-посилання у тексті супроводжуються повними коректними адресами URL.
- Текст набраний 11-м розміром кеглю з одинарним міжрядковим інтервалом; всі ілюстрації, графіки та таблиці розміщені безпосередньо у тексті, там, де вони повинні бути за змістом (а не у кінці документу).
- Текст відповідає вимогам до стилістики та бібліографії, викладеним у Керівництві для авторів розділу "Про журнал".
- Якщо матеріал подається у рецензований розділ журналу, при оформленні файлу подання були виконані інструкції щодо Гарантій сліпого рецензування.

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS
Dear Authors,
When preparing materials for publication in the Scientific Bulletin of Uzhhorod University, Series "Chemistry", please consider the following requirements:
- The manuscript should be submitted to the Editorial Board in electronic form, as a text file (doc or docx) or a ZIP archive, to the email address: visnyk-khim@uzhnu.edu.ua.
- The following must be appended to the manuscript:
- Official Letter to the Editor from the institution where the work was performed, confirming that the work was carried out at that institution and has not been submitted to the editorial offices of any other peer-reviewed journals (for authors from other institutions).
- Separate electronic file, in accordance with OJS requirements, providing the following information for each author in both Ukrainian and English: Last name, First name, Patronymic (in Ukrainian and English), academic degree, academic title, position, place of employment and its address, ORCID (if available), email address (mandatory), and phone number. Specify the corresponding author.
- Privacy Statement. The names and email addresses submitted to the Editorial Board will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
All articles submitted to the Editorial Board are subject to independent peer review and academic integrity check. All materials are checked for plagiarism using the licensed program "StrikePlagiarism". If the originality of the article is less than 80%, the article is rejected and will not be considered further by the Editorial Board.
- Article Structure:
- Problem statement and its connection to important scientific and practical tasks; analysis of publications and studies that initiated the solution to this problem, its current state; identification of previously unresolved parts of the general problem to which the article is dedicated; formulation of the research task and objective;
- Presentation of the main research materials and substantiation of the obtained results;
- Conclusions and prospects for further research.
The last page:of the article must be filled by no less than 75%.
Margins: Top – 30 mm, Right and Left – 25 mm, Bottom – 30 mm.

- The lists of References duplicate each other and are formatted according to the following requirements. It is necessary to indicate all authors of the publication, regardless of their number, the full title of the publication, using generally accepted abbreviations for journal names. If the article has a DOI identification number, it must be included at the end of the reference. The number of self-citations must not exceed 25%.
The list of references of should consist mainly (in exceptional cases, references to older literary sources are allowed if they cannot be replaced by modern ones) of new literature references (from the last 10 years) and must not contain references to Russian publications, nor to Soviet and Russian authors!

Sample formatting of "References" (for the English article text):
If the literary source is in English, German, or French, they are cited in the original language, using standard journal title abbreviations and publication data (year of publication, volume (issue), pages). If the literary source is a translation into a foreign language, it is necessary to cite the foreign language version of the article.
If the literary sources are foreign-language and not translated, they are translated into English using transliteration sites (separately for Ukrainian-language and Russian-language sources), indicating the full title of the publication and the publication data (year of publication, volume (issue), pages). The original language is indicated.

- Graphs, Figures, Tables, and their captions are inserted into the text close to the place they are referenced. Illustrations must be embedded objects (in TIFF, GIF, JPG formats). Inserts from any graphics editors (Origin, Excel, etc.) or organic substance formula editors are unacceptable. Illustrations must be clear, ready for reproduction, and maintain the ratio of forms and elements when their sizes are changed. Large tables and figures can be inserted into the text at the beginning or end of the page to the full width of the text area (single-column option, portrait orientation). Figure numbering is consecutive. Captions under illustrations (10 pt) are centered, for example:

Decimal numbers should be written with a dot; consistent use of quotation marks is mandatory.
- The author is responsible for the content and authenticity of the article material. Articles that do not comply with the Guidelines will not be accepted for publication.
Materials are accepted for consideration by the editorial board separately for two issues of the collection of scientific papers by a specific deadline:
No. 1 – by April 30 of the current year;
No. 2 – by October 30 of the current year.
Articles received later than the specified deadlines are not accepted by the editorial board and not returned to the authors. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make some editorial changes, etc.
- The Scientific Bulletin of Uzhhorod University. Series "Chemistry" publishes only original articles that contain fundamentally new results, review articles that generalize research results, and does not publish serial articles (those that are continued). Non-compliance by authors with the journal's rules when formatting manuscripts is a basis for rejecting the submitted articles.
