Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • This submission has not previously been issued and not yet been sent for consideration to other journals  (or  the necessary explanation are given below in comments to the editor).
  • Submission file is a document in the format of Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, RTF or WordPerfect.
  • The Internet links in the text are accompanied by complete correct URL addresses.
  • Text is typed in 14 size font with one and a half line spacing; author’s emphasizes are in italics and are not underlined (everywhere except the URL addresses); all artwork, graphics, and tables are placed directly in the text, where they should be according to the content (but not at the end of the document).
  • The text meets the requirements to the style and bibliography, which are set in Author guidelines of the section “About the Journal”
  • If the Material is submitted to the reviewed section of the journal, the instructions regarding to Blind Peer Review have been executed.

Author Guidelines

The Editorial Board takes up the works in accordance with the thematic focus of the journal (see Field and Issues). Articles should meet the scientific criteria, have the scientific novelty, the theoretical and practical significance, and confirm author’s proper knowledge of the relevant literature on the subject of the research.

The fact of materials’ submission to the journal is evidence of the author’s consent to the editorial policy of the journal, principles of peer review process and editing of articles, open access policy, copyright provisions and privacy statement.

Requirements for the article design:

1.The estimated amount of scientific article manuscript – up  to 40 thousand.characters, 1 author’s sheet., reviews – up to 0,25 author’s sheet ., bibliographic reviews – up to 0,5 author’s sheet ; reviews of scientific events – up to 0,25 author’s sheet .; languages – Ukrainian, English. Articles of larger or smaller volume can be accepted for publication on the relevant decision of the editorial board.

2. Manuscripts are submitted to the editorial office of the journal in electronic version in Microsoft Word (Times New Roman, 14-point type, 1.5-line spacing, indent – 1.25 cm, all margins – 2 cm) in format doc without hyphens in words.

3. It should be indicated before the article:

UDC number (to the left of the article);

The name and the surname of the author, his or her position, scientific degree, academic title, e-mail (font size-12, in lowercase letters, in italics – left-aligned)

ORCID –  author’s identifier (ORCID ID) (see.: https://orcid.org) –(to the left of the article); 

After indentation in one string – the title of the article (centered) – (size 14, bold, in capital letters)

After the title (Indentation – one string) the annotation consists of (200-300 words, font size is 12). Summary contains a brief information about the goals, methodology, scientific novelty and the main conclusions of the study. The word "Abstract" before the text annotation is not indicated.

After the annotation without indentation of the paragraph Keywords (5-7 words) in the language of the article are given after the word Keywords (in italic)

4. The article must be clearly structured and necessarily include such content’s components

  • Introduction, where the relevance of the topic is substantiated, the problem is formulated and its link with the essential scientific or practical assignments is indicated. 
  • Theoretical basis, where such elements should be presentrd: recent research and publications analysis, where the issues of the topic are raised  and on which the author relies on; highlighting not previously explored parts of the general problem, which the article is devoted to.
  • Purpose of the article (formulating of the objective).
  • Methods and research materials, where the research methods used and briefly the material of the research are described.
  • Results of the study, where the  main material of the study is presented with the substantiation of the received scientific results. 
  •  Conclusions,  where conclusions and prospects for future researches  are given.

5. Requirements for the main text of the article design:

  • The presentation of the references in the text should be in compliance with the standard АPA (6th edition). In parentheses The author must lead author's name, year of publication, page number in parentheses( round brackets). For example: ( Popovych, 2017, p.35). One should put non-breaking space (simultaneously pressing the keys Ctrl + Shift + SPACEBAR) between letter c. (English. p) for indicating the page and the number of the page.
  • Bringing up the scientist in the manuscript of the article the first letter of his name and his surname should be submitted (L. Tenier). It should be non-breaeking space between the initial and the surname (simultaneously pressing the keys Ctrl + Shift + SPACEBAR).
  • If  corrections and comments are necessary the text of the article can be accompanied by page notes (note numbering is sequential – 1,2,3,…). Notes (footnotes) are made automatically. (Insert – Footnote).
  • Quotes are submitetted  in the original language. Archival and manuscript sources are quoted and published in the original language. The content of the citations and references to relevant pages must exactly correspond to the primary source.
  • The names of any periodicals are available in the text in the original language.
  • If the article lists the schemes, they should be grouped (Views– Toolbar – Painting – Select object. Holding the button "SEL", select the objects you want to combine into a groupe on the Drawing Toolbar, click “Actions”, then click the "Group"). All drawings, tables and diagrams should be numbered and have a links in the text of the article. (e.g. See fig.1) The placement of the picture (diagrams, tables) in the text should be maximally close to the places in the text where the link to this picture (schema, table) is situated. All drawings (diagrams, tables) must be signed and have names.  In the case of figures (diagrams, tables) borrowing their source should be specified. All drawings (diagrams, tables) is duplicated in a separate file formats JPEG, PNG.
  • Use only the following quotation marks: «...». If the quotations of the words in quotation marks, use a system of double quotation marks (quotation marks within quotation marks): «“...”».
  • It is necessary to distinguish  the dash (–) from the hyphen (-): the difference is in the size and the existence of spaces before and after the dash.
  • Names and surnames of foreign authors are submitted in accordance with the rules of current Ukrainian spelling (§86-100; §104-105).

6. The requirements for the list of reference:

After the main text of the article two lists of the used literature are submitted – original (LITERATURE) and transliterated with the translation into English (REFERENCES). List of literature in Ukrainian is formed in accordance with the applicable requirements. At the beginning of the list the sources written in the Cyrillic alphabet (in alphabetical order), then in Latin (in alphabetical order) are submitted.

References meet the standard APA citation style (6th edition). To facilitate the design of the bibliography should use the site: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/section/2/10/ (or, for example, http://research.moreheadstate.edu/c.php?g=107001&p=694716) and the service of  literature lists creating with a text editor Microsoft Word.

Titles of works written in languages not in the Romance alphabet (Ukrainian, Belarusian, Serbian, etc.), the names and the surnames of the authors should be transliterated. (for the adequate transliteration it is recommended to use the resource: http://translit.kh.ua/?lat&bgn#passport). In that case, if the work has already an English title, you need to submit it. For quoted sources that have doi , it is necessary to specify it.

List of Literature and References are numbered without usage of auto-numbering service.

7. After the list of Literature over a double indent the author’s name and surname are submitted (in bold, font size 12) translated into other language (for English language publications – into Ukrainian, for Ukrainian publications – into English language); below – the position, the scientific degree, academic rank, (normal font, size 12); with the new indent – the title of the article (in capital letters, size 12), over intend – abstract and there are keywords in a new string. Abstract and keywords at the end of the manuscript must be identical in the annotation content and keywords in the original language at the beginning of the publication and designed in accordance with the above-mentioned requirements (see item 3 of the instructions for authors).  

8. Authors should also submit the following information about yourself (in Ukrainian and English): surname, name and patronymic;

  • scientific degree, scientific rank, place of work and position;
  • range of scientific interests;
  • e-mail
