In article programs-means of firm "SIEMENS" are described. It is shown, that on their basis it is possible to develop program-technical complexes (PTC) for automatic control system of technological process (ASC TP) small, average and high information capacity. Brief characteristic PTC is given and their advantages are marked. The special attention is given a choice of controllers. The engineering station is considered, allowing solving the broad audience of tasks of designing of control systems on the basis of programmed logic controllers. Structure PTC with a server and without it is given. The control system is described air separation plant, its assignment, structure and functions are specified.
