The centrifugal compressor is probably the most rapidly developing compressor type nowadays. The extending pressure range for which these units are available, together with the development of smaller sizes, is making this unit useful in the areas that formerly were best served by other designs. «Ingersoll-Rand» company, which created its first centrifugal compressor in 1912 and which has already manufactured thousand modem models of compressors practically for all types of industry all over the world, possesses the leading experience and technical know-how in the field of design and production of a given type of compressors. So, by combining modem technologies of production with high quality of product the company produces the average and high power centrifugal air compressors, model «CENTAC» with a capacity range starting from 10 m3/min up to 850 m3/min.
