Combined wet - dry coolers (CWDC) are characterized by ecological cleanliness, small expenses of energy, simplicity and reliability, small operational expenses. Air coolers of «dry» type (DC) have by a limit of cooling temperature of external air and consequently in the summer period do not provide a required mode of cooling. At «wet» coolers (WC), so-called water-cooling, the limit of cooling is a temperature of the wet thermometer much below. But in them losses of water on evaporation because of water drops are high. CWDC successfully integrate advantages of both specified ways of cooling, minimizing expenses of energy and loss of water in system of heat removal of the various equipment air separations plants and, first of all, air compressors.
