In present year extremely important event is marked: a 100-year of creation by Carl von Linde of the first oxygen unit. Development C. Linde and firm «Linde AG» cryogenic methods of separation air and difficult gas mixes promoted progress in various branch of industries, to occurrence of new effective processes and technologies. Stages of creation and development systems of separation air for reception of oxygen, nitrogen, argon etc. components, and also manufactures of such technical gases as helium, hydrogen, carbon oxide, nitrogen-hydrogen mix, ethylene, propylene etc. are considered in article. The brightest achievements C. Linde and firm «Linde AG» adequately continuing and developing him idea and an affair are systematized.
