Abstract

It is shown that calculations of thermodynamic properties by van - der - Waals type equation of mixes of substances state may be carried out using different modifications of this equation for components. The solving for problem of vapour — liquid equilibria in dimensionless form applied to cubic equations of state is proposed. The obtained solutions are independent of chosen substances and modifications of cubic equations of state. Essential singularities of modeling of helium thermodynamic properties by cubic equations of state are discussed.
