Abstract

The rotary-screw air compressor is the most used type of compressors. The decreasing of energy consumption, of service expenses and of number of wearing details in the compressor are the major problems for the overgrowth of their release now. A company «Ingersoll-Rand» letting out the modern effective rotary-screw air compressors of models «SSR» (fuel filling) and compressors of models «SIERRA» (without fuel) by small, average and high power practically for all kinds of industries all over the world and having the best practices and technical know-how in the field of designing and manufacture of the given compressors, in 2001 has organized manufacture of new model of the compressor «NIRVANA» with variable speed drive, analogue to which is not present.
