Abstract

In the modern air separation units are using systems of preliminary cooling of air before the block drying and clearing and on input to the block of separation. In connection of that the allocating refrigeration capacity of the refrigerating machine in the given system exceeds requiring, in it the non-stationary processes of air cooling are realized. The method of calculating of a duration for such processes is developed. The method allows to define dynamic characteristics of the indicated processes by operation with a serial refrigerating equipment. The given method enables to calculate a duration of processes in the system of preliminary cooling for all air separation units.
