Quality performances of the cubic equation of state in dependence on available blocks of base data of little-investigated substances are analyzed. For well-investigated industrial gases algorithms and results of finding of optimal samples from the whole of base data are demonstrated. It is shown that trusty values of thermodynamic function calculatedfrom considered equation of state might be obtained when sample consisting five points of saturation curve near normal boiling temperature is used.
