THE QUESTIONS OF SAFETY MAINTENANCE OF AIR SEPARATION UNIT AT IT COLD STOPPAGES

Abstract

On a number of enterprises where are available the air separation unit (ASU), their short-term stoppages with the subsequent start-up in operation without отогрева to start practice. The main reasons of such operation — significant unevenness of consumption of air separation products or conscious usage of an essential variance at the day and night time tariffs on the electric power. The questions of safety maintenance of ASU at it cold stoppages are not provided by necessary normative documents. Besides, the start-up of ASU without отогрева can reduce in originating unsafe situations. In the given article by way of preliminary discussion of the indicated problem some questions of safety maintenance of ASU are considered at it cold stoppages.
