The thermodynamic cycles of low pressure, in main, are applied in tonnage air separation units (ASU). During creation the liquid units of small and the average production were predominantly oriented on cycles of high or average pressures. However some corporations during last years have begun to design and to release the ASU of small productivity on the basis of cycles of low pressure. In given article the scheme of enough effective ASU which using the cycle of low pressure is describes. The data on several types, which designed for this units, air turbo-expanders with compressor brake or forcing stages are resulted. In the turbo-expanders, which manufacturing JSC «NPO Geliymash», are applied the gas-static bearings. The particular type of turbo-expander predetermines the choice for pressure of air of one of types of screw compressors of «Ingersoll-Rand Company». The given unit is intend for manufacture the 250 kg/h of liquid oxygen by pure 99,7 % or 250 kg/h of liquid nitrogen with a contents in it the 0,0001 % of oxygen.
