Abstract

Using the general statement of the second law of thermodynamics it is ground the employment of exergetic losses as criterion of availability for multi-flows heat exchangers. Different conditions of availability for multi-flows heat exchangers are formulated. The analyses of availability for two-flows heat exchangers with different suggested criterion are carried out and its results confirm the correctness of developed approach.
