Explosions of plants in South East Asia in 1997 have stipulated more serious attitude of foreign companies to ensuring air separation process and equipment explosion-proof. In 2000, «Air Liquide» developed DI, GR.231.05-0 standard on air separation plant explosion-proof upon hydrocarbons. About the same time, the EIGA issued 65/99/EFD document regulating safe conditions of air separation plant condensers. The present article expounds analysis of requirements pointed out in the above documents and Russian requirements ensuring air separation plant explosion-proof. A conclusion is made on practical analogy of the requirements in basic theses.
