Abstract

Rotary screw air compressors are conquering market of compressor’s equipment. There are many reasons for that. Several reasons of their advantages include low unit’s size (in comparison with reciprocating ones), mobility, self-regulation and efficiency. It is natural that the leading companies-manufacturers are participating in intense competition in further improvement of this range. For market penetration they are required to optimize constructions, implement current technologes and design new models. Representative example is a technological policy of one of the biggest world-famous company «Ingersoll-Rand» which manufactured low-speed rotary screw air compressor in a year 2002.
