The search of new fields for application of nitrogen for the well-grounded increase of its manufacturing and sale is the important technical and economic problem of Russian technical gases producers, in particular, of the plant «Uraltechgas». Good prospects of such search are confirmed with the experience of developed countries, where nitrogen became a recognized leader among industrial gases. Unfortunately, demand for nitrogen in Russia is found not to be high, because the development of modern nitrogen-loving technologies is still weak. The article offers a brief overview of the high potential of nitrogen and technologies based on it. Use of available experience will promote to development of nitrogen-loving manufactures, generation of new ideas and its practical realization.
